Solaris Robots’ expansion into Indian healthcare boosted by appointment of Infection Control Specialist

Mississauga, ON, Canada – Solaris Robots, a leading innovator of pulsed UV disinfection and service robotics solutions for hospitals and the healthcare industry, has today appointed Dr Rahul S Kamble, a highly regarded Infectious Disease Control Specialist, in an advisory capacity.

The new partnership between Solaris Robots and Dr Kamble heralds the company’s swift expansion into India’s healthcare industry.

Solaris’ pulsed UV disinfection technology is safer, up to 9 times faster and more effective than what is currently available to hospitals in India, potentially saving lives, critical time and money.

Dr Kamble, MBBS, MD Microbiology, currently associated with Americares India Foundation as a Project Lead- Antimicrobial Stewardship, has more than 15 years of experience in Infectious Diseases.

He has been an active member of Antimicrobial Stewardship programs for the best hospitals in India, including Lilavati Hospital, Asian Heart Hospital, and Hinduja Hospital, as part of this project.

During his career, Dr Kamble has been at the very top of his profession, obtaining recognition globally. He has also completed an airborne infection control course at Harvard Medical School, an Infectious Diseases Diploma from UNSW, Australia, and Clinical Tropical Medicine & Vaccinology from CMC Vellore. He is also a recognized quality auditor and assessor, with a host of Healthcare Diplomas and the prestigious Six Sigma Black Belt.
