Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Services and how your organization configures its Solaris account. It may include:
- Account information: name, work email address, organization, role, login credentials, and account identifiers.
- Operational information: assigned sites, schedules, tasks, completion records, service notes, feedback, alerts, and other information entered into or generated through the Services.
- Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, language, IP address, diagnostic logs, crash information, and interactions with the Services.
- Support information: messages and other information you provide when contacting Solaris for support or submitting a website enquiry.
We do not use the Services to collect precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers unless a feature clearly asks for access and you or your organization enables it.
How we use information
We use information to provide and operate the Services; authenticate users; display assigned work and operational records; deliver alerts; maintain security; troubleshoot and improve performance; provide customer support; comply with law; and communicate about the Services.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information:
- with the organization that provides or manages your SolarX account;
- with vendors that host, secure, support, or help us operate the Services, subject to appropriate contractual protections;
- when required by law or necessary to protect users, Solaris, or the public; and
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable law.
Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet contractual obligations to customer organizations, maintain security and business records, and comply with law. Retention periods may be configured by or agreed with your organization.
You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting your organization’s SolarX administrator or emailing info@solarisrobots.com. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate requests with the organization that controls your account. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for workplace and organizational use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
International processing
Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our Services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Services or your organization.
